In October 2010, Curaçao became a constituent country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Curaçao is a very stable place to live and to invest. It offers a stable currency and favorable tax law.

The capital, Willemstad, inspired by Dutch architecture, was selected in 1997 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a World Heritage site, due to its “outstanding value and integrity, which illustrates the organic growth of a multicultural community over three centuries, and preserves a high degree of significant elements”.

In this sunny and colorful island of a rough 450 km² live approximately 150,000 inhabitants of more than 50 different nationalities, enriching the island with different cultures, cuisine and languages. The official languages are Dutch and Papiamentu, even though most of its residents also speak Spanish and English.

For the enjoyment of its inhabitants and visitors, there are more than 30 beaches with crystal clear water, many first class hotels and resorts, museums and great restaurants. Its all-year-round temperature is approximately 27 degrees Celsius, and is accompanied by a delightful breeze besides being located outside the hurricane belt.

Willemstad, divided in the Punda and Otrobanda neighborhoods, is easily accessible by plane with daily direct flights from European, North American, and Latin American countries. Due to its strategic geographic location and connection, state of the art telecommunication facilities and availability of multilingual staff, Curaçao is an ideal place to have your business. Also, it has a sophisticated financial center for international tax planning and financial transactions. Tourism is one of the major pillars of the national economy, transportation and communication sectors.

This all makes Curaçao a great place to live and to invest. Whether you are looking into buying a property as a second home or as an investment, there are many real estate opportunities, and we would gladly assist you in connecting your needs.
